As a practice, Studio Parisi typically places a strong emphasis on visual alignment, symmetry and order. FLOW HOUSE intentionally departs from that approach, introducing irregular wall planes and double-height spaces that blur the boundaries between zones. The result is a dynamic volume that draws you into a generous central space, while allowing each area to retain its own distinct identity.

The journey through the home unfolds as a sequence of carefully considered moments, from the arrival garden and organically shaped skylight above the porch to a compressed circulation space that frame glimpses toward the home’s ultimate reveal: the water and open-plan living area.

Responding directly to its creek-front setting, this progression echoes the movement of water from the creek to the lagoon, transitioning from more enclosed spaces to increasingly open ones.

Timber screening, expansive glazing and layered landscaping soften the home’s visual presence. In doing so, FLOW HOUSE steps back, allowing the surrounding landscape to take centre stage.
